HOWTO: Contribute to Open Source Projects Without Coding

Maybe you've seen many good Open Source projects that are no longer maintained. One of the many reasons for that may be lack of contribution. In fact, there are many one-man projects out there. Most of any program's users are just that, users, not developers. Nevertheless, average users still can contribute to Open Source programs to make them better.

Drupal as a platform for an academic community

Hi all,

I am evaluating different CMS as a platform for a community site
that will host several academic projects, discussion fora etc. The
audience are people working with information technology as part of
their research and we want to provide a platform where they can prepare
their projects or discuss related questions. From what I have seen
Drupal, maybe in the OpenAcademic flavour, seems like a very good
choice for what we have in mind.
